Roland Ottmann, with examinations in mechanical engineering, economics and project management, has a wide and varied experience of project-based management at both the theoretical and the practical level. He is executive partner of Ottmann & Partner Ltd. – consulting and training for excellence in project management. He gives lectures at several German universities. He is a board member of the GPM German Association for Project Management e. V. He was the initiator of the German Project Management Award, project manager for the model of “project excellence”, the German Project Management Awards 1997–2000, and the International Project Management Award. He is a trainer for the PM award a ssessors.
